I consider myself a deprived child when it comes to sugar. I mean… raisins were candy until I turned the age of 5. And you can judge me all you want to that I allowed my 2 1/2 year old to enter the famous Dylan’s Candy bar… but we had a BLAST! He must have opened every sugary bin. And those dimples were deeper than I have ever seen. It was a total “kid in the candy store” kind of moment… of course until the manager came up to me to inform me that no photographs ware allowed in the store. Are you kidding me lady? I felt like some Oompa Loompa came out singing… “Oompa Loompa do-ba-dee-doo , if you are wise you’ll listen to me. You can not flash photos in here… If you do, trouble is near.” I can promise you that there is nothing that I want to copy in your store… I merely wanted to capture those first glimpses of the pure joy behind Liam’s first trip inside Wonka’s World. It was completely magical. The unwrapping of the giant lollipop outside the doors ended up being all the photograph we needed! And he so deserved it after the week we had!
Don’t forget to check out this week’s glimpses at the Chic Critique!
Elise (Gigi) - You were never deprived, child!!!lol! This is adorable!
B3 - trying to convince him that chocolate and ice cream are better, but I am fighting his genetics!
Lillian - No judging here – that sounds like a blast!! I hate that sinking feeling when someone says you can’t take pictures somewhere, like you’re doing something naughty. So glad you guys still had fun – love that the lollipop matches his shirt:)
