I am absolutely in love with Mr. A and his family. He won me over back here. He is one of the happiest babies I have ever met. All you have to do is look at this cutie and he turns into a fit of giggles. He had us laughing all night… I can hardly believe that he is turning one, my little birthday buddy. And he may have been the one wearing the monkey hat, but I am pretty sure it was us looking like a barrel of monkeys jumping up and down to get those picture perfect smiles!
I may not have been posting glimpses, but I promise I have been capturing those everyday moments…(you can scroll back to catch up!) It’s that time of year again… time for your annual family photo… time to start preparing for this wonderful holiday… one of the busiest and most exciting seasons. This past week, I had the honor of photographing one of my dear friend’s family. When photographing friends, I always get a bit more nervous.. but compound that by photographing a photographer that I respect…. whoa! I can tell you that when we got there, all those nerves settled. Maybe because I was so excited about these shots… maybe because i just love this family and Miss L can totally steal the show… or maybe it was because we simply had so much fun. In any case, this shoot made me even more pumped for our upcoming mini shoots… I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed spending the evening with your incredible family… I am so grateful to have your friendship and share in the love of photography together!
What a happy family, with a great new addition.
Halloween was amazing this year. We had a new street with parties and tons and tons of kids. We celebrated with neighbors and friends and friends that are neighbors… I bought tons of light sticks and toys and treats for all ages. Liam had a BLAST! By the end of the night, he was a total pro at the trick-0-treat thing. He even convinced my brother and his girlfriend to take him for a second round! Happy Halloween

Pumpkin carving is such fun in October and the perfect exploration activity for 2 1/2 year olds.
I am glad that Liam and I supervised and left the carving to the artist of the family, otherwise we might have scared some little kids with our pumpkin…
