As I mentioned in my previous post, we spent the weekend between weeks 28 and 29 on the lake with amazing friends who we love dearly. It was Liam’s first time on the lake and so we were not sure how he would like it. When we arrived all he wanted to do was get on that boat and no fussing on the life jacket rule because man does that little guy love boats! When it came time for mom and dad to ski… it got a little rocky. Everytime someone fell, I did not anticipate our questions of “are you okay?” to cause concern for my 2 year old. Let’s just say he did not like the possibility that mom or dad could get hurt. Daddy took him out on a super slow tubing excursion… I am not sure he was certain at the time by the look on his face, but he sure did talk about it alot! All in All it was a fabulous weekend! (and PS notice my buff hubby! Super Guard is back people!). You can find other glimpses at the chic critique forum!
Did you think that I forgot to take my weekly photographs? We have been busy buying a new home, but I most certainly didn’t forget the camera! We spent the weekend between week 28 and 29 with some of our favorite people at their lake house. Liam received his very first kiss… on a boat in the middle of the lake. How romantical! wink… I am so saving this one for the future. I am pretty sure daddy will not approve of this later on, but isn’t she just a doll? Oh man Liam… I am not sure it gets any better than a sweet kiss on the cheek from a beautiful girl! Don’t forget to check out the other glimpses at the chic critique forum!
That is my BOY! Sorry Danny!
Oh my goodness get ready for this one… it is a total sugar rush!
I got the opportunity to shoot not one, but two sets of twins. Celebrating not 2, but 4 birthdays and twice the cake! I die! And it might have been a race against when the sun would slide back under the clouds and when the rain would catch us… And it might have delayed a few naps… but man oh man did we have a blast!
These sisters were breathtakingly beautiful and so sweet to each other.
And it must be a name thing, because Mr. W is just about the only other cake smasher I know besides my son that takes his cake without hands. Cracks me up. Mr. J took more of a one finger approach, then decided that cake was better smashed than eaten! I could have stayed and played with these cuties all day! The love and laughter and excitement running through this house was contagious! Thanks for spending your morning with me!
Great pics, but I am seeing double!
It is no secret that this family is close to me, but photographing their newest addition took my breath away and left a tiny imprint on my heart. I cannot thank them enough for allowing me to photograph their family and bare with me as we found the light! We managed to capture one of my all-time favorite daddy raspberry moments, make your heart melt big brother kisses, and some of my all-time favorite newborn shots. Baby E was the ultimate in baby modeling letting us move him in all directions. I don’t want to spoil any surprises… so a few fun ones to swoon over will do! Love you guys to the moon and back!
So beautiful…and such a dear, special family. Magic moments captured forever! You are truly an amazing photographer and a loving friend. So proud of you!
These pictures need to be in a photo contest.
Beautiful pics of a happy family of 4!
It simply cannot be week 27 with the glimpses project put on by chic critique. This week we had so much to be thankful for and I feel truly proud to be an American. I hope that we are able to instill those all-American values and pride in our son. It was a hot fourth of July, but such a great one. We celebrated with wonderful friends and grilled up some classics. And what doesn’t scream patriotism than lighting up the night with sparklers! Happy Birthday America.
so proud of you 27 weeks is an incredible accomplishment! love the sparkler shot!
Great shot! God bless America!
Love this, what a fantastic shot!
The Dad - He was having fun. I promise!
